How To Dress A Pear-Shaped Body

Bodies come in many shapes and sizes, which can make it hard to figure out the right styles of clothes that will flatter you. Once you know if you are an apple, a pear, or an hourglass, it will make finding clothes much easier. You will also feel better about the way you look and are dressed.
What is a pear-shape body?
A pear-shape body has hips, and a backside that are wider than your shoulders, and usually has a smaller bust.
If you identify with this body type there are lot of great items out there that will flatter your body.
You can go crazy with tops. V-necks, embellished sleeves, and patterns will all flatter you. Stick to fitted tops that will give you definition around your shoulders, and draw attention to your narrow waist.
Jackets that hit at the waist or mid-thigh work best for pear-shapes.
A-line dresses are your best bet, and they should hit just below the knee. The top of the dress can have embellishments on it, and statement sleeves.
Bootcut and flair denim are the pant style that are the most flattering. Solids on the bottom are must! Many pear-shaped clients will go up a pants size to fit their thighs, and then have the waist of the pant taken in.
